HV2000 HVOF Torch

Thermach High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) systems deliver innovative safety features and industry-leading performance. Easy-to-use controls, high-impact visual alarms, and a NEMA 12 enclosure provide accurate control over gauge and flow of ceramic and metallic coatings for the optimum corrosion resistance your customers expect.

The HV2000 High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) spray torch is a durable and versatile thermal spray tool, capable of operating with a variety of gaseous fuels. The HV2000’s reliability and efficiency can be adapted to many automated coating applications.

The HV2000 torch excels in applying ceramics like aluminum oxide and alumina titania. Pore-free ceramics with extremely high dielectric strength (700-1,700 V/mil) are routine with the HV2000. Internal axial-feed powder injection, and specially designed water-cooled gas mixing and combustion chambers create the high thermal efficiency, maximum particle heating and high particle velocities that efficiently produce dense, low-oxide coatings.

The HV2000 is designed for use in automated spray operations. All hose connections enter axially, for a streamlined and compact package, but the versatile torch body design allows for fast, easy maintenance

The HV2000 is supplied with a 19mm combustion nozzle. Optional 0mm, 12mm, and 22mm nozzles are also available. Each nozzle’s unique combustion chamber depth allows for spray materials with unique melt characteristics.
