Plasma Spray Torch

The SG-100 is a robust and proven plasma torch with plenty of options. The SG-100-90 is a 90 degree SG-100 torch with a user-friendly mounting bracket. This multimode torch can spray subsonic, Mach I, and Mach II - depending on hardware. Available in standard, 90 degree, and interior diameter extension configurations.

The SG-100 Plasma Spray Torch rapidly applies uniform and repeatable Plasma Spray coatings to a variety of materials and is readily usable in high-volume production environments. Designed for machine or robot mounting, the SG-100 Plasma Spray Torch uses a variety of water-cooled, self-aligning anodes designed for specific spray operations. Maximum power level of the SG-100 torch is 80 kW.

 

Normal operation of the SG-100 Plasma Spray Torch requires a minimum cooling water flow of 8 gallons per minute (15.2 Liters per minute). See Figure 2-1 (above) for the cooling water flow curves at various pressures.
