The Model 2086 Plasma Extension Torch and Model 2700 Plasma Extension Torch both utilize the SG-100 Plasma Torch with extensions. Extensions are available in 12 inch and 24 inch standard lengths, and custom lengths from 6 inches to 72 inches.

The Model 2086 Plasma Extension Torch is designed for production applications where uniform and repeatable coatings are desired on inside diameters of 2.5 inches or larger. Standard penetrating lengths for the Model 2086 are 12 inches (305 mm) and 24 inches (610 mm), with custom lengths available from 6 inches to 72 inches. Straight or 45-degree anodes are available, along with a choice of powder injection positions.

Normal operation of the Model 2086 Plasma Extension Torch requires a minimum cooling water flow of 8 gallons per minute (15.2 Liters per minute).
